At 11.45 all classes with their tutors marched from the
school building to the parish church following the colour guard. The holy mass was
celebrated and the homily was delivered by the rector of Raba Wyzna parish- the
priest Canon Antoni Zuziak.
In the liturgy took part: the headmaster of school, Mr Krzysztof Faber,
the administrator of Raba Wyzna villages, Mr Edward Siarka, the teaching staff,
as well as students and parishioners. Also the colour guard was present, the altar`s
service and the school music group together with church music group. The liturgy had
a solemn character.
In his homily the priest rector said the Holy Father is a silent witness of
suffering, but with his attitude he speaks a lot to all people all over the world.
He also says that human suffering cannot be understood wihout reference to suffering
Christ. In this context the priest also quated the Epistle Salvifici Doloris of the Holy
Father John Paul II about Christian sense of human suffering from 11 February 2005.
